Specialized areas at The Alverno include the Sr. Ruth Cox Rehabilitation Unit for those who are planning to return home once they have recovered from an injury, illness or surgery. We also offer a unit specifically for individuals suffering from dementia. The other areas of our facility provide long term nursing care for those choosing to make The Alverno their home.

Tobacco Free Policy:
Effective, July 1, 2013, all Trinity Senior Living Communities, including The Alverno, will be adopting a tobacco-free policy. Tobacco products, including smoking will be prohibited on Alverno property, including personal vehicles and in parking lots and previously designated areas. This is an important step to increasing our fire safety, eliminating hazards of secondhand smoke and improving the health and well-being of all.

Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing
If you are recovering from surgery or an injury or illness, our team of therapists and nurses can help you recover and work toward your goals of independence. Individuals seeking our assistance for rehabilitation are typically recovering from injuries/illnesses such as: stroke, cardiac conditions, pneumonia, falls, surgeries (hip/knee/ankle/shoulder) and many others.
Many of the individuals treated in our rehab unit are able to regain the skills necessary to return to their homes. So far, in 2008, 76% of the patients in our unit have returned home. Others have made the decision to reside at our facility. Click here to learn more...
