The Alverno Health Care Facility is seeking a Human Resources Manager for our long-term care community in Clinton, Iowa.

The Human Resources Manger oversees the human resources functions for our facility with approximately 200 employees. Overall responsibilities include Human Resource Planning, Recruitment and Retention, Employee & Labor Relations Policy & Procedure administration, Training and Development, Compensation & Benefits and Workers’ Comp & Safety. Serves as a consultant to the administrator and is part of the facility management team.

Must demonstrate analytical ability and possess a comprehensive knowledge of basic data analysis and communication tools including, Excel, Access, Word & Power Point.

The ideal candidate will have:

Minimum of 3-5 years of HR experience

Minimum of 3 years direct supervisory/management experience for multiple employees

Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field required.
