Agility Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to work with our rehab team at our long-term care facility in Clinton, Iowa. This position provides an excellent team environment, a low stress and fun atmosphere, and a great mentoring opportunity for a new graduate. The is a beautiful facility and has a very nice therapy room. 1 Human Resources Manager

The Alverno Health Care Facility is seeking a Human Resources Manager for our long-term care community in Clinton, Iowa.

The Alverno provides a competitive compensation and benefit package that complements this opportunity for personal growth and professional advancement.

The Human Resources Manger oversees the human resources functions for our facility with approximately 200 employees.  Overall responsibilities include Human Resource Planning, Recruitment and Retention, Employee & Labor Relations Policy & Procedure administration, Training and Development, Compensation & Benefits and Workers’ Comp & Safety.  Serves as a consultant to the administrator and is part of the facility management team.

This position requires demonstrated success in several key areas:

  • “Out of the box” thinking and application

  • Fast Execution of Plans

  • Planning, Modeling and Forecasting Trends & Measuring Results

  • Project Management & Facilitation

  • Employee and Labor Relations

Candidates for this newly created position will have:

  • Previous experience in healthcare, long-term care preferred.

  • Strong understanding and application of a quality process and tools.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate with multiple levels in the organization.

  • The ability to work as part of a team, coach and train staff, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • The ability to seek out and develop new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices.

  • Must demonstrate analytical ability and possess a comprehensive knowledge of basic data analysis and communication tools including, Excel, Access, Word & Power Point.

  • Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.

  • Must possess and demonstrate personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals and values of The Alverno.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of HR experience

  • Minimum of 3 years direct supervisory/management experience for multiple employees

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field required.

  • Direct experience working in an environment that has continuous change.
